The consultation is free and with no commitment. We’re here to advise you. We’ll discuss what you want and what styles you like.
We’ll explain the process, healing time, and aftercare.
We’ll recommend the right artist based on your preferred style and availability.
You can choose: an in-person meeting at the studio or a videocall.

The consultation is led by our Honzík – he has experience with tattooing, understands various styles, and will help you find the right artist for you.

Does getting a tattoo hurt? Where does it hurt the most?

Everyone experiences pain differently, but yes – be prepared for some discomfort. The intensity depends on the area and the session length.

The most sensitive areas are usually the ribs, neck, inner arms, and ankles. On the other hand, spots like the shoulder, calf, or forearm are typically more tolerable for most people.

Don’t worry – during your consultation, we’ll explain everything and recommend a suitable spot and size based on your pain tolerance.

What if I’m not exactly sure what I want yet?

That’s totally okay! That’s exactly why we offer a free consultation – to talk it through together. We’ll help you find a style that fits your idea or recommend an artist whose signature matches your vibe.

Sometimes just a few words or a thought are enough – and we already know how to turn it into a design with Charakter.

How long does it take for a tattoo to heal?

Initial healing usually takes 7–14 days, during which the skin begins to regenerate and peel. Full healing (including deeper layers) takes about a month.

You’ll receive clear instructions from us on how to take care of your tattoo so everything goes smoothly. If you’d like, you can also purchase high-quality aftercare products directly at our studio.

How should I take care of my new tattoo?

There are two main methods for caring for a fresh tattoo:
A) Traditional Method – Without Film
– After your session, we’ll cover the tattoo with a protective film, which you should remove after a few hours.
– Gently wash the tattoo with antibacterial soap and pat it dry with a clean paper towel.
– Apply a thin layer of the recommended cream (e.g. Bepanthen, Hustle Butter) 2–3 times a day.
– Avoid swimming pools, saunas, direct sunlight, and physical activity during the healing period.

B) Healing Film Care (e.g. Dermalize)
– After tattooing, we apply a special breathable film that protects the tattoo from dirt and supports the healing process.
– Leave the film on for 3–5 days while your tattoo heals underneath, with no need for additional care.
– After that period, carefully remove the film, rinse the tattoo with lukewarm water, and gently pat dry.
– Then continue applying a thin layer of the recommended cream 2–3 times a day until the tattoo is fully healed.

Both methods have their benefits, and the choice depends on personal preference and your artist’s recommendation. If using a healing film, it’s important to monitor your skin’s reaction and remove the film if you experience any discomfort.

How much does a tattoo cost?

The price mainly depends on:
– the size of the design,
– the complexity of the style,
– and of course, the time the artist will need.

Smaller tattoos (up to 5 cm) usually start around 1,500 CZK. Larger projects are priced individually and based on the artist’s hourly rate. During your consultation, we’ll give you a price range based on your idea.

When can I book a consultation? And is it really free?

Yes – the consultation is completely free and without any obligation. You can choose your time slot via our booking system (Noona) – either in person at our studio or via videocall.

How far in advance do I need to book?

It depends on the artist you choose and how busy they are. Some may have openings within a few weeks, while others could be booked out for several months. The consultation will help you find the best artist for your idea and we’ll arrange the earliest available date together.

What if I change my mind after the consultation?

That’s totally fine. The consultation doesn’t commit you to anything. Take your time to think it through. If you decide later, just let us know and we’ll book your session when you’re ready.
